Los Angeles Lakers super star LeBron James is one champion except Kobe Bryant’s 5 and 2 shy of Michael Jordan’s 6. He apparently isn’t preoccupied with winning one or 2 or 3 more in order to match or go beyond those legends’ title traditions.

“Anyone who believes LeBron is sitting there going after that ghost every night pondering on, ‘Kobe has actually got 5, Michael’s got 6, I’ve got 4,'” ESPN’s Zach Lowe stated on the Feb. 16 edition of the Lowe Post podcast (h/t Peter Dewey of Lakers Daily).

“That’s not obviously LeBron’s state of mind. That’s what I’ve heard independently for a long period of time.”

Obviously, James definitely appreciates winning NBA champions. That’s the entire point of being a rival in the league and reaching the peak of the sport.

There is a significant distinction in between chasing titles for those factors and doing so to increase one’s status in the GOAT discussion. It’s easily obvious James is interested in the previous as he continues to control the NBA in his 21st season.

The Lakers will need to pass through a harsh Western Conference simply to reach the NBA Finals this season.

They sit at 30-26, ninth in the West and 9.5 video games back of the first-place Minnesota Timberwolves. Having a healthy James and Anthony Davis lead the method will definitely assist the Lakers’ title hopes as they hope for the 18th NBA title in group history.
