Feb. 29 (UPI)– A popular set of bald eagles in Southern California are getting ready for the hatching of their 3 eggs, and bird fans are being welcomed to view live online.

The Friends of Big Bear Valley established 2 cams at the San Bernardino Mountains nest inhabited by eagles Jackie and Shadow so the duo’s fans can enjoy their 3 eggs hatch on YouTube.

The group stated the eggs were laid in late January, so the authorities “pip watch” starts Thursday.

The “pip” described in “pip watch” is a little bump on an eagle egg that appears about 4 days before hatching. The raised bump, or pip, is an outcome of an eaglet poking the idea of its beak through the shell.
