Best understood in expert Supercross for their one-off bike and equipment styles thanks to N-Style and Leatt, Team Solitaire Heartbeat Hot Sauce Yamaha did not dissatisfy at this previous January's Monster Energy Supercross “Retro-Themed' round in San Diego.
After all that effort, all they got was a rather dry press day where groups at least got a couple of images of their tough work. On race day, the rainy 2024 Southern California winter season had other strategies and the retro appearance was covered in mud when San Diego got struck with uncommon heavy rains.
With a lot entering into the limited-edition appearance, Team Solitaire wasn't going to let the San Diego mud destroy everybody's efforts. On their very first off weekend from Supercross competitors, the group packed up and headed for the Arizona desert.
Entitled RAW, the group provides fans a take a look at their variation of a renowned Yamaha retro appearance and oh yah, did so on a YZ125 simply to make it a bit more practical and put a cherry on top.
