Isayama, Kaji look for artist to draw manga debuting this summer season
Manga developer Hajime Isayama (Attack on Titan) and voice star Yūki Kaji (Attack on Titan’s Eren, The Seven Deadly Sins’ Meliodas) revealed on Wednesday that they are working together on a one-shot manga spinoff of “Soyogi Fractal,” Kaji’s task commemorating the 20th anniversary of his voice acting launching. Isayama is drawing the thumbnail storyboard draft for the manga, while Kaji is composing the story. The manga will debut in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine and Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine this summer season.
The task is running an audition from Wednesday till April 30 for an artist who will draw the manga’s last art, based upon Isayama’s storyboards. The site hosting the audition published the very first 5 pages from Isayama’s storyboards.

Kaji’s “Soyogi Fractal” task centers on the character Soyogi Soyogi, which includes voice synthesis software application based upon Kaji’s voice. Kaji pictures the software application as enabling both amateur and expert developers to develop “intriguing” material without restraints.
