It is bracing, exceptional and just remarkable to see the large panic amongst Republicans, and particularly Donald Trump, in response to the Arizona Supreme Court choice which put the state back under the near-absolute 1864 abortion restriction. We talked a couple of days ago about Kari Lake’s desperate efforts to get out of the method of the reaction. Today Donald Trump went on Truth Social and required that Gov. Katie Hobbs and the Republican state legislature “treatment what has actually occurred.” If you look at what he states he does not appear ready to call for anything more than including rape and incest to the list of possible exceptions under the 1864 law? “We need to preferably have 3 Exceptions for Rape, Incest, and the Life of the Mother.”
