Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola has actually been called to another watch list. The freshman was put on the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Watch List.
The award is called for previous running back Shaun Alexander. Alexander bet Alabama from 1996-99.
He won the SEC Player of the Year and was a first-team All-American in 1999. Alexander completed his college profession with 3,433 hurrying lawns and 40 goals.
This is the 2nd award watch list that Raiola has actually been called to this month. He was formerly called to the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award Watch List.
The freshman will make his very first start on Saturday afternoon when the Huskers host UTEP at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on Fox.
