Vocalist Alexandra Osteen Embraces Family Legacy While Proclaiming ‘the Hope of Jesus’

For Alexandra Osteen, maturing in a megachurch and being raised by moms and dads who are acknowledged around the world felt, remarkably, typical. Oh, How Worthyconsists of 13 tracks including partnerships with Tauren Wells and Alexander Pappas and tunes composed by Brandon Lake, Steven Furtick, Joel Osteen, Mitch Wong, and Chris Brown, to name a few.

The album affirms of the “goodness of God that we’ve seen in our lives,” she stated. It was tape-recorded live at Lakewood Church.

“All of these tunes are influenced straight from Scripture, from stories and testaments of what we’ve seen God do at Lakewood, how we’ve experienced His goodness in our lives and in the lives of others,” Alexandra Osteen stated.

The album’s very first single, Surpassedconsists of Wells. It was co-written by Joel Osteen.

“That tune has a truly cool story due to the fact that it really began with my father,” Alexandra stated. “… One day he got up and he seemed like God had actually offered him these lyrics for this tune, and it was based off the message that he was speaking that weekend in church.”

Joel Osteen’s preaching fixated the story of Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, who, in 2 Chronicles, pleads with God to provide the Israelites triumph over a bigger army.

I want to You and understand You’ll battle my fights,'” Alexandra Osteen stated. “The message because tune is so effective and such a statement to make in any situation– to simply state the opponent is surpassed since we understand, with the Lord on our side, the opponent is constantly surpassed,” she included.
