2024 VMAs: Orlando Bloom Honors Katy Perry With Video Vanguard Award

The “California Gurls” vocalist– who thrilled fans while getting the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 11– exposed that her and Orlando Bloom’s child Daisy Dove Bloom has rather the literary doppelgänger.
“She has hair like Eloise,” Katy stated on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up Sept. 11, referencing the renowned Eloise kids’s book series about a little lady with wild blonde hair who lives at the Plaza Hotel in New York City with her baby-sitter, her pug and her turtle. She continued, “She’s got such a strong will. She’s a king.”
And while sharing insight into how she and Orlando– who she’s been engaged to given that 2019– prepared to broaden their household, she described they were really “deliberate about having her.”
“She had some excellent karma pertaining to us,” the 39-year-old stated about the 4-year-old. “She is such our present and she is such a true blessing.”
While Daisy looks like she would like to run through the corridors of the Plaza, one thing she is a huge fan of is enjoying her mother on phase– and most just recently was consumed with Katy’s drone butterflies throughout wedding rehearsals.

“She was so ecstatic,” Katy remembered. “She’s never ever seen anything like that, and I was capturing ’em and she’s like, ‘I wish to capture one.'”
And after she and the drone butterflies carried out at the VMAs, the “Teenage Dreams” vocalist likewise provided a shoutout to her child while accepting her Vanguard Award, stating from the phase, “For my Daisy, the only flowers I’ll ever require.”
From Daisy seeing the wedding rehearsals to Orlando providing her with the MTV honor, it was a complete household affair.
“You fell for her as Katy Perry,” he gushed on phase, “I fell for her as Katheryn Hudson.”

ThePirates of the Caribbeanstar kept in mind that while her fans worldwide understand her “as an international super star,” he understands her “as a mom, as a partner who brings that exact same sense of love and delight to our household.”
“She enjoys with her entire heart and it’s sort of tempting,” the 47-year-old included. “Congratulations on this honor, child, I’m so happy with you.”
