As it associates with the brand-new generation of female rap stars, hypersexualization constantly appears to be part of the discussion. While some implicate record labels trying to enhance sales, GloRilla firmly insisted that she’s calling the shots herself.

On Wednesday (Aug. 28) night, throughout an Instagram Live, she resolved a clip of herself dancing partially nude to her, Skilla Baby and Rob49’s “Mama (Remix).” The Memphis native discussed, “Let me inform you b ** ches something: Y’ all had a lot to state due to the fact that I was dancing to my tune [and] holding my titties. Do not fret about what me and my titties [are] doing. B ** ch, I purchased them.”

“The label ain’t making me do s ** t,” she stressed before including, “A h ** gon’ be a h **. Y’ all simply be swearing motherf ** kers make motherf ** kers do s ** t. Everything I do, I [actually want] to do it. Y’ all simply [have] to discover to mind your company in some cases.”

When it comes to her thinking, GloRilla kept in mind, “It ain’t about no label making me do s ** t. It’s about me trying to find some h ** s.”

GloRilla’s body image has actually been a point of conversation since her breakout hit, “F.N.F (Let’s Go).” In 2023, she opened about her breast enhancement. “Y’ all understand I ain’t with that overboard s ** t. These [are just] a lil’ fill-in. [I] simply filled them in. They ain’t absolutely nothing too outrageous,” the artist exposed.

On the music front, GloRilla dropped Ehhthang in April. The 12-track effort included contributions from Kevo Muney, Boston Richey, Moneybagg Yo, and Finesse2Tymes, to name a few. Standout cuts “Yeah Glo!” and “Wan na Be” with Megan Thee Stallion both handled to arrive at the Signboard Hot 100 chart.

In June, the Collective Music Group rap artist debuted “TGIF,” which got a significant co-sign from Rihanna. GloRilla is anticipated to carry out the tune at the 2024 MTV VMAs in September.
