The Office of the General Counsel offers numerous chances throughout the scholastic year for law trainees to function as interns and externs at NASA Headquarters and each of the 10 field setups. Internships and Externships supply law trainees with chances for hands-on experience throughout a varied series of practices. OGC normally supports lawsuits and transactional activities in the following practice locations: contracts/acquisitions law, business law (e.g., realty, Space Act Agreements), copyright law, global and area law, and basic law, that includes principles.
Summer Season Legal Honors Internship Program: The OGC Summer Legal Honors Internship program is an extremely competitive full-time program for extremely certified law trainees. This program normally runs for 10-weeks and interns usually deal with a broad variety of legal matters.

Legal Externships: OGC regularly offers unsettled, part-time and full-time externships for extremely certified law trainees throughout the law school scholastic year (for law school credit). Externships usually run for a quarter/semester depending upon the trainee’s scholastic calendar.
