Following the Atlanta Falcons' 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Footballhead coach Raheem Morris wasn't thinking about talking about the questionable no-call that had fans buzzing.
When inquired about the referees not calling protective pass disturbance on a fourth-down pass from Kirk Cousins to Kyle Pitts, Morris informed press reporters, “I like my cash. I'm clever sufficient to be conscious not to soak on authorities. They made the call, or didn't make the call, it is what it is. We had a possibility to win on the last play.”
Chiefs security Bryan Cook appeared to reach Pitts before Cousins' pass got here, however the referees picked not to call a charge. The choice comes a week after Kansas City took advantage of a protective pass disturbance charge in its one-point win versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Still, Atlanta had another opportunity to make the win after requiring Kansas City into a three-and-out. For the Falcons, they were not able to transform on fourth-and-inches from the Chiefs 13-yard line, resulting in a turnover on downs that sealed the video game.
After being up to 1-2, Morris will attempt to get the Falcons back on track when they fulfill the New Orleans Saints in an NFC South match in Week 4.
