Manga about barbarian leader who beats knight however requests hand in marital relationship

Kadokawa revealed on Friday that Noriaki Kotoba’s The Barbarian’s Bride (Hime Kishi wa Barbaroi no Yome) manga is motivating a tv anime that will premiere next year. Kadokawa did not expose any other information for the anime. Kadokawa is streaming a teaser advertising video for the anime, including panels from the manga with restricted animation.

7 Seas Entertainment accredited the manga, and will launch the very first volume in English on October 15. 7 Seas Entertainment explains the manga:

Serafina de Lavillant, the greatest female knight in the West, was sent out to rule over the barbaric people of the East. When her objective stops working stunningly, she’s caught alive and sent to prison. Embarrassed and fearing what dreadful abuse she’ll withstand, she asks to be put to death. To her surprise, instead of tearing her limb from limb, the people leader requests for her hand … in marital relationship! Will Serafina deal with a terrible and violent set up marital relationship? Or will she find that these people aren’t as barbaric as she was led to think?

Kotoba introduced the series in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in January 2021. Kodansha delivered the seventh assembled book volume on February 8, and will deliver the 8th volume on October 8.
