Marc Spector is back in service in Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu # 1 by author Jed MacKay, artist Alessandro Cappuccio, colorist Rachelle Rosenberg, and letterer Cory Petit. The brand-new continuous series restores a timeless title from the ’80s while restoring Spector’s status quo following his death and resurrection.
As it ends up, Marc Spector’s brand-new status quo isn’t so various from what he had going on before he passed away back in 2023’s Moon Knight # 30, though he has a brand name brand-new bad guy to compete with. Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu # 1 puts Moon Knight back in his Mr. Knight personality, back on the path of a brand-new bad guy called Achilles Fairchild – a violent drug pusher with a southern drawl. Not simply a run of the mill pusher, Fairchild is the source of a brand-new drug called ‘shine’ which has wonderful effectiveness that leaves a number of its users hopelessly addicted, beyond the impacts of any earthly narcotic or pharmaceutical.
And to secure him, Fairchild has an army of masked guards who Moon Knight viciously tears through in a harsh brawl that reveals Marc Spector isn’t squandering at any time coming down and filthy now that he’s back. Moon Knight stops brief of assaulting Fairchild himself, as he calls off his guards and welcomes Moon Knight – totally matched up in his Mr. Knight attire – to a sitdown.

All the while, the story cuts down and forth to a various sitdown, a conference in between ex-cop Flint, who formerly had a violent collaboration with Moon Knight that resulted in him giving up the police, and Detective Frazier, who is barbecuing him about Marc Spector’s return, and his recognized partners at the Midnight Mission.
Back at the club, Moon Knight faces Fairchild with the shine, and informs him to leave his area. Fairchild declines, leading Moon Knight to flat out threaten to eliminate him if he does not.
This triggers Fairchild to present his individual bodyguard, Carver, a previous mercenary who brings a wonderful weapon from the Norse world of Vanaheim. And though they do not toss down right now, you can wager Carver is being established for a huge, most likely bloody battle with Moon Knight down the roadway.

Moon Knight makes his exit, however not before repeating that he’ll come for Fairchild if he does not get shine off the streets, informing him he offered him an alerting just due to the fact that “I like it when they see me coming” – a familiar avoid when he initially handled his Mr. Knight personality.
