Tampa, FL Tampa Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship
We have our very first main injury of the off-season to report. New Rockstar Energy GasGas Factory Racing rider Casey Cochran required to Instagram today to reveal he suffered a leg injury on his very first day of bootcamp in Florida while prepping for the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. He went through surgical treatment and beginning his healing procedure.
The 2023 Supercross Futures Champion was set for his very first complete season of supercross in 2025 after making his professional supercross license and checking the waters. Racing for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, Cochran ended up 15th, 15th, and 16th, respectively, in his 3 starts (Foxborough SX, Nashville SX, and Philadelphia SX). Cochran made nationwide # 40 after completing 13th in the 250 Class AMA Pro Motocross Championship and changed from Husqvarna to the brand-new, internal factory GasGas effort– revealed simply recently.
The 2025 supercross season begins January 11, 2025, with the Anaheim 1 Supercross (250SX West Region) and the 250SX East Region season begins February 8, 2025, with the Tampa SX. There is no schedule on Cochran’s go back to riding, although he mentioned: “I’m figured out to be 100 percent and return on the bike as quickly as possible.”
Below is his complete post.
“Little upgrade for you guys! I had a truly efficient 2 weeks of screening in California with the Rockstar GASGAS Factory Racing group, however sadly, I hurt my leg on the very first day of bootcamp back here in Florida. Surgical treatment is done, I’m now concentrated on my healing and doing whatever I can to return to complete strength. I’m figured out to be 100 percent and return on the bike as quickly as possible.”
