Donald Trump’s choice versus affirming for a 2nd time at his New York civil scams trial was met mockery by his critics on social networks.
Earlier Sunday, Trump published on his Truth Social platform that he “VERY SUCCESSFULLY & & CONCLUSIVELY” affirmed in November and saw no requirement to appear once again.
In an emailed declaration to Newsweek Sunday night, Christopher Kise, Counsel for Trump, stated the previous president had absolutely nothing more to state to Judge Arthur Engoron in the $250 million monetary scams trial.
“President Trump’s testament, in addition to the testament of the real lenders and the professionals, has actually developed that the SOFC worths were conservative and in compliance with governing accounting requirements, that the banks had no problems with those SOFCs, saw President Trump as a valued customer and were repaid completely with millions in interest,” Kise stated.
Trump’s Counsel stated Attorney General Letitia James is “continuing her wild and unreasonable pursuit of President Trump. Under such situations, there is no legitimate factor for President Trump to affirm even more in this case.”
Trump’s critics on X, previously Twitter, appeared to have plenty to state following Sunday’s statement.
