Drake Invested $100 Million In The World’s First Art Amusement Park

It’s not a surprise that Drake would be the individual to invest almost $100 million in the revival of a deserted theme park.

The reimagined park, “Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy,” was called after the initial André Heller production, Luna Luna, that debuted in Hamburg, Germany in 1987. Heller commissioned art from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and others alike for the very first of its kind art theme park. It was referred to as a “fairground of feelings” and “the museum of the future.”

Los Angeles Times reported that Luna Luna’s initial trips stayed in beautiful condition after being saved in a Texas center for over 30 years, however more than likely weren’t up to code. According toHyperallergicDrake and his home entertainment company, DreamCrew, acquired the trips and invested upwards of $100 million in recreating Luna in Los Angeles this winter season.
