And Teddy Bridgewater– who simply weeks earlier was assisting the high school group he coaches to a state champion– remains in the video game for Jared Goff.
Goff was required to the blue medical camping tent after taking a ruthless hit on a Commanders' Pick Six midway through the 2nd quarter. Goff was obstructed hard by Washington linebacker Frankie Luvu at the end of the return, and replays revealed contact to Goff's head and chin:
While the Lions were punished for an incorrect start on Bridgewater's very first play of the video game, they had the ability to complete the drive with a goal from Jameson Williams, to cut Washington's result in simply 24-21:
No word yet on if Goff will go back to the video game, however he was spotted informing head coach Dan Campbell that he was all right, in addition to commemorating the Williams goal.
Video game upgrade: Goff went back to the field for the Lions' next belongings, with Detroit tracking 31-21.
