A male believed of taking an art work by Banksy of a stop indication decorated with 3 military drones, was detained Saturday, London authorities stated.
A guy in his 20s remained in custody on suspicion of theft and criminal damage, the Metropolitan cops stated.
The indication was taken less than an hour after the evasive street artist published an image of the deal with his Instagram page Friday.
Video revealed a guy with bolt cutters climbing up on a bike to eliminate the work from an indication post on a street corner in the Peckham location of south London while another male steadied the bike. The guy who cut the indication complimentary then ran off with it in his hand.
A voice on a video of the occurrence might be heard stating, “it makes me so irritated,” as the guy fled.
