DOE $42 Million for Inertial Fusion Energy Hubs
The DOE moneying $42 million to support 3 centers to establish inertial blend.
The centers will be led by scientists at Colorado State University, the University of Rochester, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Projects moneyed by the program-- called Inertial Fusion Energy Science and Technology Accelerated Research (IFE-STAR)-- will unite know-how and abilities throughout DOE's National Laboratories, academic community, and market to advance IFE system elements.
