Crunchyroll began streaming the Marginal Prince (Marginal Prince ~ Gekkeijyu no Oujitachi ~) anime, the adjustment of NTT Docomo’s dating simulation mobile video game, on Wednesday. Crunchyroll likewise revealed on Thursday that it will include the 2nd season of the Gunma-chan anime.
Crunchyroll is streaming the Marginal Prince anime in Japanese dub with subtitles in English, German, Spanish (Latin America and Spain), and French. This is the very first main English release for the anime, including its additional 14th episode.
The anime’s 13 episodes aired in Japan from October to December 2006. The additional 14th episode aired in Japan in July 2007.
The anime’s story centers on Yuta, who leaves his sis to study abroad at St. Alfonso Academy, situated at a little island far from Japan. The academy is called an unique school for kids of stars, and Yuta is astonished by the grand and glamorous structures and dorm rooms of the school. One day, a specific occurrence occurred at the school’s dorm.

Mayuto Morimoto is credited for the initial work, and Tomohisa Kai for the initial character draft. Takayuki Inagaki directed the anime. Studio T&B, Tokyo Kids and GONZO supervised of animation production, and Toshiko Sasaki created the characters for the anime.
NTT Docomo launched the initial mobile video game in Japan in August 2005.

The 2nd season of the tv anime based upon Gunma Prefecture’s mascot character Gunma-chan will be offered in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and India. Crunchyroll did not reveal a launching date for the anime.
