“Owen and Carlie are the Bonnie and Clyde of the 21st century– a slick duo who manage difficult break-ins and have the time of their lives doing it. When justice lastly reaches them and they believe it’s all over, the Devil himself uses them an offer– their liberty for their very SOULS,” checks out DSTLRY’s main description. “But they quickly discover that without their souls, their love is missing out on, too, so they set out to hire a team of the damned for the supreme break-in: get into Hell and take their souls back.”

The important things is, this variation of Hell isn’t the stereotyped location of fire and brimstone that a person may visualize. Rather, it’s a gambling establishment, where the devil constantly wins and the damned are permanently bound to lose.

“This July, Henderson and Garbett welcome readers on an awesome journey to a Hell they’ve never ever seen before. A location completely developed to provide individuals hope, so that the devil can abuse them with it when he takes it away, once again and once again,” continues DSTLRY’s statement. “That’s right, Hell is a CASINO. And even with the best group of burglars, your house constantly wins.”

Henderson and Garbett formerly developed Skyward together, and Eisner chose comic about a world where Earth’s gravity is reduced. They likewise co-created teen scary comic Shadecraft.

It’s amazing for us to challenge ourselves with this book, and I constantly enjoy a great break-in.”
