The Federal Aviation Administration raised a ground pick up all Alaska Airlines flights Wednesday after grounding the airplanes previously as an outcome of a computer system issue at the provider.
The Seattle-based airline company stated in a declaration that a concern developed “while carrying out an upgrade to the system that computes our weight and balance.”
The FAA at first authorized a ground pick up all Alaska and Horizon flights beginning at around 10:50 a.m. ET.
It was raised right before 11:45 a.m. ET.
It wasn’t instantly clear the number of flights were impacted. An Alaska representative did not right away react to an ask for remark.
