Feline Who Drinks Out of Own Glass Wins Pet of the Week

From a senior canine getting to take pleasure in a McDonald’s meal to a foster pup’s insuperable bond with the home pet dog, we’ve seen lots of heartfelt family pet stories today.

Today’s Newsweek Animal of the Week is Franklin, a feline who went from roaming the streets to sitting at the table with his owners.

Andrea and Alice reside in New York and discovered Franklin roaming one day when they chose to take him in.

“We discovered him roaming along the mean strip on Franklin Avenue in Brooklyn and brought him right home to cope with our 2 other felines,” Andrea informed Newsweek

Called their “spaghetti feline” due to the fact that he is so long, the feline is incredibly wise and constantly there for his owners.

When they sit to consume, Franklin wishes to participate too. “He enjoys to sit with us throughout meals and beverage water out of his own glass,” Andrea discussed, sharing a video of the feline drinking from his extremely own glass at the table.

Our very first finalist today is Scarlett, a small Shih Tzu whose owner states she has a “heart of gold.”

Dealing with owner Michelle Smith, Scarlett was born with a warped spinal column.

“She does not let that sluggish her down,” Smith informed Newsweek

With her own Instagram page, Smith shares Scarlett’s story on social networks, wanting to be a supporter for rescue and unique requirements animals.

Under the manage @scarlettsfaith on Instagram, they share whatever from her jazzy attire to community experiences.

Next up today is Archie, a brown and white tabby who deals with owner Tracy Scalia.

[We] have had him given that he was 6 weeks,” Scalia informed Newsweek“He is the most humorous video camera caring positioning thing ever.”

When he isn’t presenting for images, Archie likes to use the iPad and socialize with his orange tabby good friend.

Last, however not least today, is black Labrador Bodhi who resides in North Carolina with owner Janie Neely.

Embraced from the neighboring gentle society, Bodhi enjoys toys and has plenty to have fun with.
