Members of the 119th Congress cheered previous Representative Matt Gaetz’s lack from the session on Friday, praising as his resignation letter read into the record.
The procedure, in which acting House Clerk Kevin McCumber revealed Gaetz’s objective not to go back to Congress, produced substantial buzz on the House flooring.
