HG breaks ground on Leeds’ BeckYard

McLaren Living’s brand-new BeckYard advancement remains in Leeds’ South Bank regrowth location, an emerging domestic and mixed-use quarter in the city centre.

Developed by Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher (CJCT), the build-to-rent (BTR) plan is increasing on a previous parking lot website.

BeckYard will have 375 apartment or condos for lease. Features will consist of locals’ lounges, shared offices, fitness center and occasions locations– with roofing gardens on the very first, ninth, and 14th floorings. Simply 46 of the flats will include a cars and truck parking area; the rest will need to contend for the 226 resident cycle areas.

McLaren’s financing partner is Heim Global Investor and BeckYard got grant assistance from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s brownfield real estate fund.

HG Construction president Adam Quinn stated: “This is our 4th plan for the McLaren Group and will reinforce the collective relationship in between our 2 business. BeckYard is HG’s 3rd job in the Leeds location and we are eagerly anticipating additional adding to the city of Leeds and more particularly the South Bank location with this wonderful plan.”

BeckYard is anticipated to finish in early 2027.
