Igor Severino will return for the very first time considering that his notorious biting event.
Severino (8-1) fulfills previous two-time bantamweight champ Jonas Magard (17-6) Dec. 29 at OKTAGON 65 from O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, promo authorities revealed Monday.
Severino was disqualified for biting Andre Lima in the arm throughout their battle in March, which was his UFC launching. The Dana White’s Contender Series graduate was instantly launched from his agreement, and got a nine-month suspension and $2,000 fine from the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Days after the event, Severino excused biting Lima in an interview with MMA Junkie. He eagerly anticipates going back to action for the popular Czech-Slovak promo.
“I will make my launching in OKTAGON MMA versus Jonas Magard,” Severino stated in an Instagram video. “I’m extremely thrilled for the battle. I can’t wait to go there and place on a program for everyone. Jonas, I see you quickly. I’m prepared. Dec. 29, let’s go.”
