An Israeli cop was shot dead Tuesday and 4 other spectators injured when a terrorist introduced an attack near Ashdod in the south of the nation, regional media outlets report.
The officer, who was seriously injured in the attack, passed away of his injuries en route to the health center, medical authorities and cops stated, according to the Times of Israel

Assuta Medical Center stated it was dealing with a person who was reasonably harmed by pieces of his automobile window that were shattered by shooting, and 2 others who were gently harmed, consisting of a physician who stopped his automobile to deal with the hurt and was struck by another automobile. The Times report detailed:
According to a preliminary probe, cops stated the terrorist approached the roadway on foot, shooting at the officer, then hurt the other 4 before being shot by a Magen David Adom ambulance service volunteer who took place to be at the scene.
According to regional Channel 12 news, the identity of the terrorist enemy has actually not been identified yet, suggesting he did not have a record, and might have crossed over unlawfully from the West Bank.
