For Dreamville fans, 2025 will mark completion of a period. On Tuesday (Dec. 10), organizers exposed J. Cole's yearly Dreamville Festival occurring next April will be the 5th and last installation of the yearly occasion.
“What a trip it's been … We can't thank y' all enough for all the memories we've shared,” detailed a declaration from the celebration's organizers. “From the very start, the concept behind the fest was producing a location where our fans, the Dreamville neighborhood, might hang around together, a location where they might see themselves shown, a location to share in experiences. Let's run it back one more time in April!”
An Instagram post soundtracked by J. Cole, Lute, and DaBaby's “Under The Sun” included depth to the statement with a prolonged caption inviting “alumni and brand-new promises to come together one last time.”
“From the minute the concept of a celebration took shape, we could not assist however question: were we in over our heads? Would individuals concern our home in Raleigh? What would that even appear like? We took a leap of faith– beginning, making statements, and even browsing reschedules due to the components and a world that appeared to be breaking down. Through every obstacle and turning point, our neighborhood waited us.”
The fifth-anniversary Dreamville Festival was initially revealed last month, going back to Raleigh, NC at Dorothea Dix Park, after the 2024 edition brought 100,000 ticketholders to town to delight in efficiencies from Dreamville artists along with SZA, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Key Glock, Lil Yachty, ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, and more.
The 2025 ticket presales will start on Wednesday, using two-day GA, GA+, and numerous VIP bundles on the main site. General sales will continue if tickets stay.
