Kayla Harrison Explains Not Calling Out Amanda Nunes Yet
MMAFighting.com's Damon Martin just recently talked to Kayla Harrison, who stated that now isn't the time to share the Octagon with Amanda Nunes.
“I'm not going to call Amanda out,” Harrison described when talking to MMA Fighting. “I'm absolutely not going to call Amanda out till I have the title.
“Then when I seem like I've done that, I'm going to develop the most significant battle in ladies's MMA history. Up until then, I'm calling for that title.”
Julianna Pena has actually declared that the UFC desires either her or Harrison to eliminate Nunes next. “The Lioness” teased a possible return in a social networks post previously this year. She published a clip of her dancing while in UFC equipment, prompting Dana White to offer her a call.
White reacted to the clip, stating Nunes searches in terrific shape and he's open to seeing what the retired future UFC Hall of Famer wants.
If Harrison vs. Nunes does ultimately occur, it would be strictly organization.
“It's not individual for me,” Harrison stated. “Of course, I wish to battle Amanda. I have excellent regard for whatever she's achieved in this sport and to me, there's no greater honor than stating ‘I desire what you have.' Some 20 year woman strolled into [American Top Team] tomorrow and stated that to me ‘I'm going to beat your ass one day,' I ‘d resemble yes, let's go! That's the sort of energy I desire.”
