Michigan newlyweds apprehended after groom supposedly runs over and eliminates groomsman hours after wedding event

A groom and bride were apprehended in Flint, Michigan, recently after the groom presumably ran over and eliminated among his groomsmen hours after the wedding event, according to authorities.

The City of Flint Police Department reacted to the 1400 block of E Hamilton Avenue on Aug. 30 for a report of a “pedestrian injury crash,” the department stated Wednesday in a Facebook post.

The victim was determined as 29-year-old Terry Lewis Taylor Jr., who was discovered with serious injuries and required to a close-by medical center where he later on passed away.

According to authorities, Taylor Jr. was at a wedding event previously that day where he was a groomsman to James Shirah, 22.

“After the wedding event he was associated with an argument which resulted in him being deliberately struck by a big SUV that was taking a trip at a high rate of speed and driven by the groom,” authorities stated.

Authorities did not share any information about what Shirah and Taylor Jr., argued about.

Shirah was apprehended and arraigned for 2nd degree murder, according to authorities. He’s being held without bond.

His bride-to-be, Savahna Collier, 21, was likewise arraigned for device after the truth to a felony and her bond was set at $4,000. Cops did not elaborate on Collier’s responsibility in the occurrence.

The authorities department spelled Collier’s given name as “Savahna,” whereas court records reveal it as “Savanah.” Shirah and Collier’s lawyers did not instantly react to NBC News’ ask for remark.

Shirah and Collier are because of appear in court next Thursday, according to court records.
