A Mississippi instructor implicated of making love with a trainee was rejected bond after a detective dropped a troubling allegation in court.
“He (James Donald Hawkins II) stated that they had actually made strategies to go to Louisiana to elope, and things were moving faster than they initially anticipated,” Jackson County Sheriff Captain Kristen Johnson affirmed, according to WLOX.

Hawkins II, a high school physics instructor in the Ocean Springs school district, was apprehended on Nov. 30 and charged with felony sexual battery, according to prisoner records.
