NLE Choppa Shuts Down Sexuality Rumors After Cryptic “Coming Out” Tweet

Simply days after sharing a puzzling tweet about “coming out,” NLE Choppa lastly resolved the whispers surrounding his sexuality.

Beneath the “Shotta Flow” rap artist’s preliminary Sept. 5 post, a social networks user responded with a clip of Tim (Brandon Black) coming out as gay in Tyler Perry’s 2022 A Madea HomecomingIn the scene, Joe Madea (Perry) responded by stating, “That’s all you wish to state? Well, child, we understood that.” On Monday (Sept. 9), NLE Choppa reacted, “Never stated I was gay.”

Reports about his sexuality started to run widespread after he revealed love to the LGBTQ+ neighborhood for supporting his “S ** T ME OUT 2” single. The Memphis star shared his ideas on the speculation throughout a current cover story for PAPER Magazine

“It’s a stunning thing due to the fact that the quantity of individuals who [have] had something to state is what fuels me to remain deeply rooted in my function,” he described. “The charm of it is that it provided me a chance to state, ‘Oh, y’ all seem like I’m in this manner? Okay, let me provide y’ all some more factors to feel that method, despite the fact that I understand I’m not. Let me reveal more love to individuals that y’ all are stating I’m lined up with due to the fact that we are all human beings at the end of the day.'”

He included, “Everyone is defending some kind of approval, and I believe the most fundamental part is accepting yourself initially.”

On the music side, NLE Choppa is preparing to launch S ** T SZN on Sept. 27. The task will house “Or What” with 41– consisted of Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter and TaTa– and the J.P.-assisted “S ** T ME OUT 2 – COUNTRY ME OUT.”

The job will act as a follow-up to 2023’s Cottonwood 2which gathered vital praise for standout cuts like “DO IT AGAIN” and “IN THE UK,” among others.
