Aug. 27 (UPI)– More than 200 ex-staffers for previous President George W. Bush and his dad, previous President George H.W. Bush, along with the late Sen. John McCain and Sen. Mitt Romney are backing Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for president, according to a letter launched Monday.
The group of Republicans, which launched a comparable letter in 2020, alerted that democracy would be “irreparably threatened” by a 2nd White House term for previous President Donald Trump.
