NYT Strands today– tips, responses and spangram for Monday, September 9 (video game # 190)

Is it simply me or was this an actually random choice of LAWNGAMES, as the spangram would have it? I’ve never ever become aware of BOCCE, however I now collect it resembles bowls or boules … and definitely does not need to be (and frequently isn’t) used a yard. BADMINTON is an Olympic sport that is typically used a tough court or inside your home. CORNHOLE and HORSESHOES most likely fit the expense, as does CROQUET, however it’s all a bit odd. Obviously I might be missing out on something; I’m not a professional and perhaps there is some sort of main classification for what is a yard video game and what isn’t. Who understands …

In either case, I needed to fix this one primarily by experimentation, which never ever produces the most satisfying of Strands experience. Ideally tomorrow will be more gratifying.
