This Christmas, Sky Arts audiences will be dealt with to a chance to go back in time to 1974 and witness the magic of Paul McCartney and Wings: One Hand Clapping.
Provided by Mercury Studios, the movie uses an intimate behind-the-scenes take a look at the 1974 Abbey Road tape-recording sessions, including video footage of solo acoustic efficiency by Paul McCartney formerly unreleased completely.
One Hand Clapping was taped on video tape, catching the feel and look of the time, and includes uncommon video footage, interviews with the band, and insights from the imaginative group. Audiences can re-live renowned Wings strikes, a reimagined Beatles traditional, and fascinating efficiencies, all on Sky Arts this Boxing Day.

Paul McCartney and Wings: One Hand Clapping is an MPL movie, executive produced by Paul McCartney and produced by Ben Chappell. It was directed by David Litchfield. Sky Arts programs are commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, Executive Director of Unscripted Originals at Sky for Ccile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios & & Chief Content Officer for Sky. Jack Oliver is Head of Co-Productions for Sky Arts.
One Hand Clapping showcased Wings brand-new line-up, fresh off their return from Nashville where they tape-recorded the timeless single Juniors Farm. Following the abrupt departure of Denny Seiwell and Henry McCullough the previous year on the eve of taping the Wings work of art, launched the year formerly, Band on the Run, Paul (vocals, bass, piano, electrical piano, Hammond organ, celeste, harmonium, acoustic guitar), Linda (Moog, electrical piano, Mellotron, tambourine, backing vocals) and Denny Laine (vocals, electrical guitar, acoustic guitar, bass) were now signed up with by guitar player Jimmy McCulloch and drummer Geoff Britton. Furthermore signing up with the band in the studio were orchestral arranger Del Newman and saxophonist Howie Casey, who had actually formerly had fun with Paul in Hamburg and would go on to sign up with the Wings visiting band.
