Brief n’ Sweet made 117,000 comparable album systems in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 12 (down 25%), according to Luminate– mainly driven by streaming activity of the album’s 12 tunes.

In the leading 10 of the Billboard 200, David Gilmour attains his 3rd solo leading 10 album, as his very first studio effort in 9 years, Luck and Strangebows at No. 10.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based upon multi-metric usage as determined in comparable album systems, assembled by Luminate. Systems make up album sales, track comparable albums (TEA) and streaming comparable albums (SEA). Each system equates to one album sale, or 10 private tracks offered from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand authorities audio and video streams produced by tunes from an album. The brand-new Sept. 21, 2024-dated chart will be published completely onSignboard‘s site on Tuesday (Sept. 17). Of Brief n’ Sweet‘s 117,000 comparable album systems made in its 3rd week, SEA systems make up 101,000 (down 20%, equating to 134.79 million on-demand main streams of the album’s 12 tunes; it holds at No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart), album sales consist of 15,000 (down 45%) and TEA systems make up 1,000 (down 5%).

Nos. 2-6 on the Billboard 200 are all non-movers. Post Malone’s previous leader F-1 Trillion ranks at No. 2 (72,000 comparable album systems made; down 16%); Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is No. 3 (57,000; down 7%); Morgan Wallen’s chart-topping Something at a Time locations at No. 4 (52,000; down 7%); Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department is No. 5 (51,000; down 3%); and Billie Eilish’s Struck Me Hard and Soft is No. 6 (47,000; down 3%).

Zach Bryan’s The Great American Bar Scene increases one area to No. 7 with 38,000 comparable album systems made (down 2%), Noah Kahan’s Stick Season climbs up 9-8 with 38,000 (down 3%) and Wallen’s previous leader Harmful: The Double Album ascends 11-9 with 32,000 (down 5%).
