The old saying is that the battle before the battle in MMA is the one with the scale.
Weight-cutting battles and ultimate weight misses out on are a routine part of the sport. Throughout 2024, we upgraded this story each time there was a violation on the UFC scale– or battles that were ditched since of concerns with a fighter’s weight.
Here’s a running list that will upgrade throughout the 2024 fiscal year. Fighters noted remain in sequential order of their arranged bouts.

Gordon was 1.5 pounds over the limitation. In Ontario, fighters do get additional time– as much as an hour.
