1. Mount Everest
At 29,032 feet (8,849 meters) above water level, Mount Everest’s top is commonly acknowledged as the greatest on the planet.
Straddling the border of China and Nepal, it belongs to the well-known Himalayan range of mountains, and something of a traveler destination for enthusiastic (and rich) climbers, causing overcrowding and contamination.
2. K2
The second-tallest mountain worldwide, increasing 28,251 feet (8,611 meters) above water level. In Asia, K2 is part of the Karakoram mountain variety. While likewise a popular location for climbers, the greatest peak of K2 is thought about a lot more challenging (and harmful) to top than Mount Everest.
3. Kangchenjuga
Another of the magnificent Himalayan mountain peaks, Kangchenjuga increases 28,169 feet (8,586 meters) above water level and is the third-highest mountain above water level. Like much of the greatest mountains, it pushes a border, this time in between Nepal and India.
4. Lhotse

5. Mekalu
Increasing 27,838 feet (8,485 meters) above water level, and still in the variety of Mount Everest– we can’t appear to prevent these Himalayan peaks– Mekalu is on the border of Nepal and China.
