‘2025’ gets here early in New York City as lighted NYE characters go on screen

Dec. 18 (UPI)-- New York City is preparing for its New Year's Eve event as the 7-foot-tall "2025" characters formally got here Wednesday in Times Square.
The 4 lighted numbers, weighing roughly 1,200 pounds, utilized an overall of 620 energy effective LED bulbs.
Visitors will have the ability to take pictures in front of the giant, lighted numbers on Broadway Plaza, in between 46th and 47th Streets, through 7 a.m. EST on Monday.
After that, "2025" will proceed to its last location atop One Times Square for New Year's...
