Clarence B. Jones is preaching nonviolence.At 93, this civil liberties leader, who assisted the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. compose his "I Have a Dream" speech, is still combating hate. These days, rather of leading demonstration conferences, Dr. Jones is reaching young audiences through brand-new channels such as the Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice and the Spill the Honey Foundation; with his current narrative, Last of the Lions; and by starring last month in tv's most pricey genuine estate-- a Super Bowl advertisement to fight antisemitism.
