WASHINGTON - U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Geoff Freeman released the following declaration requiring Congressional action to money cyclone catastrophe relief: The destruction of Hurricanes Helene and Milton needs that Congress pass catastrophe relief as quickly as possible. Neighborhoods, small companies and employees in the course of the storms-- much of whom depend upon visitors-- are not able to invite conventions, conferences and leisure tourists up until Congress offers the needed resources to reconstruct. If there are any unneeded hold-ups, American neighborhoods will unnecessarily suffer.
