John McCarthy discusses why Chris Curtis’ UFC Fight Night 249 blockage loss was an error

John McCarthy thinks Chris Curtis has a right to be distressed about his loss at UFC Fight Night 249.
Curtis (31-12 MMA, 5-4 UFC) was outraged by referee Mark Smith's blockage of his battle versus Roman Kopylov (13-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) on Saturday at the UFC Apex, where he was dropped with one 2nd left in the battle.
After landing a head kick that floored Curtis, Kopylov strolled method, triggering Smith to waive the battle. Curtis instantly opposed, and previous referee McCarthy describes why he concurs.
