David Knezevich, Accused in Disappearance of His Wife in Spain, Ordered to Remain Behind Bars
A federal judge in Florida ruled on Monday there is "sufficient proof" to keep a 36-year-old guy-- charged with kidnapping and perhaps eliminating his partner in Spain-- behind bars.
David Knezevich pleaded innocent to the criminal activity in June after he was jailed when he went back to Florida from his native Serbia-- where he tackled a week before Ana Maria Knezevich Henao's disappearance from Madrid.
"Indeed, the proof produced at the 2nd hearing supports the Court's initial finding that [Knezevich] provides a severe threat of flight provided the shrewd level of deceptiveness that he has actually shown as part of the criminal activity he is declared to have actually participated in," Judge Edwin Torres composed in a 17-page court file, the Miami Herald reported.
