In the last few years, however, the appeal of the swords has actually broadened beyond trainees of history with the Touken Ranbu franchise. And with the appeal of the franchise near its peak, the famous sword and character Kousetsu Samonj has actually gotten a statue in the sword's present home of Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture.
