Dec. 31 (UPI)-- New Year's Eve events and fireworks worldwide sounded in 2025, as more than a million revelers crowded into New York City's Times Square for efficiencies and the standard midnight ball drop under rainy skies.
A long list of entertainers-- consisting of Megan Moroney, Kapo, Carrie Underwood, the Jonas Brothers and Rita Ora-- amused the enormous crowd in anticipation of the countdown and the big, lighted Waterford crystal ball that dropped to sound in the brand-new year.
