The PLAYERS: Scottie Scheffler’s savage response to ‘disturb fans’ over LIV Golf split
Scottie Scheffler is coming off a controling win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and will be aiming to go back-to-back at The PLAYERS Championship today.
Prior to protecting his title, Scheffler talked to the media about a wide variety of subjects. His squashing words about where dissatisfied fans need to direct their anger raised eyebrows.
He was inquired about the fans' frustration with the PGA Tour, particularly with guys leaving for LIV Golf.
"We're continuing to grow what we're doing, and what they're doing is not actually an issue to me," he stated. "If the fans are upset, then take a look at the guys that left. We had a Tour, we were entirely, and individuals that left are no longer here. At the end of the day, that's where the splintering originates from."
