Sausages remembered after customers discover pieces of rubber in item

Salm Partners, LLC, of Denmark, WI, is remembering roughly 35,430 pounds of Johnsonville turkey kielbasa sausage that might be polluted with foreign products, particularly pieces of rubber, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The issue was found after the company got problems from customers reporting they discovered pieces of rubber in the ready-to-eat turkey kielbasa items. FSIS is worried that some item might remain in customers' fridges. The turkey kielbasa sausages were produced in between Oct. 30-31, 2023. These products were delivered to retail places across the country.
