Thousands get away, homes damaged as Los Angeles wildfires stress out of control
LOS ANGELES--California firemens fought wind-whipped wildfires that tore throughout the Los Angeles location, ruining homes, blocking highways as 10s of thousands left and straining resources as authorities gotten ready for the scenario to aggravate early Wednesday.
The flames from a fire that broke out Tuesday night near a nature protect in the inland foothills northeast of LA spread out so quickly that personnel at a senior living center needed to press lots of citizens in wheelchairs and medical facility beds down the street to a car park. The homeowners waited there in their bedclothes as coal fell around them up until ambulances, buses and even building vans showed up to take them to security.
