‘Beastars’ Creator Paru Itagaki Launches ‘Taika no Risei’ Manga
Prominent manga developer Paru Itagaki, best understood for her works Beastars and Sandahas actually debuted her newest series, Taika no Risei (Taika's Reasonin the seventh problem of Weekly Shounen Champion on Thursday. This marks Itagaki's 2nd brand-new serialization in 3 months, following the October 2024 launching of her web manga Ushimitsugao on Champion Cross.Taika no Risei presents a special duo as its lead characters: Ao, a high school woman, and Taika, a "dogman." The story mixes Itagaki's signature creativity and ingenious storytelling. The editor-in-charge explained the series as "overruning with Paru Itagaki's imaginative world" and prompted readers to immerse themselves in its non-traditional yet fascinating property.
