Northern lights to call in New Year’s Eve in parts of United States

Dec. 30 (UPI)-- The northern lights are anticipated to place on a New Year's program as far south as Illinois, New York and Oregon beginning Monday night, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The effective geomagnetic storm, or coronal mass ejection of solar product, is categorized as a strong caution G3 that might produce northern lights noticeable through New Year's Eve in as lots of as 18 states.
